Pupils can attend this from 5 years old and classes are split into different age & ability groups. Musical Theatre is the combination of singing, dancing and acting. The classes will involve all three disciplines with a goal of putting on musical theatre productions that will showcase the children’s work.
Once a term we will be inviting a guest teacher to work with the children. This may be focusing on one area of musical theatre or cover all three. We feel that this will be a great opportunity for them to learn from other people who work in the business.
Children will have the opportunity to sing and act individually if they wish or as part of the group. As part of these classes there will be dialogue and song lyrics that the pupils will need to learn outside of lesson time.
